D'Addario produce a range of guitar strings in gauges suitable for Jazz Guitar styles. As well as the ever popular XL range, there are the Flat wound Chromes strings, precision ground 1/2 Rounds strings and Stainless Steel wound XLS strings. Austrian strings manufacturer Thomastik offer three Jazz strings sets. The George Benson Jazz Strings, endorsed by the great man himself are flat, ribbon wound. Jazz Swing guitar strings are also flat wound, while the Be-Bop strings are round wound. Both have a round steel core.
